Individuals who hold a Bachelor's degree or are currently pursuing undergraduate studies(only Level 1 till graduation) are eligible, along with working professionals who have accumulated a minimum of 4,000 hours of work experience.

Duration

This 12-14 month course features flexible tuition schedules, conducted once or twice a week, usually on weekends. Ideal for working professionals and students pursuing other degrees, this format ensures minimal disruption to your daily routine.

Examinations

The Chartered Financial Institute conducts CFA exams the CFA Level 1 exams four times a year in total. The months in which you can appear for these examinations are February, May, August and November. Click here to see the exam dates.

Pathway to CFA^®CERTIFICATION

Pass all the 3 Levels for CFA

CFA Exam Level I:The first of the three CFA exams, measures basic understanding of the content areas above, along with investment analytical skills. Based upon reported pass rates for all three exams, Level I is the most difficult to pass platform.

CFA Exam Level II:The CFA Level II exam focuses on asset valuation and properly applying investment tools. This exam is also broken into a morning and afternoon session, each featuring 10 item set questions that require test takers to read a case study that is approximately 1.5 pages long and then answer 6 multiple-choice questions based on the information contained in that passage.

CFA Exam Level III:The CFA Level III final exam assesses comprehensive knowledge across all subjects and the ability to apply skills in portfolio management. The morning session includes 8 to 12 essay questions with various components, some requiring free-form responses and others addressing specific instructions. In the afternoon session, candidates face 10 item set questions focused on CFA Level III concepts.

Work Experience of minimum 4000 hours or 36 months

Complete work experience requirements before, during, or after participation in CFA Program. Your experience must be directly involved with the investment decision-making process or producing a work product that informs or adds value to that process.

Reference Letters

In support of your membership application, you will need to provide 2-3 professional references. References will be asked to comment on your work experience and professional character.

Applying

Apply to become a regular member of CFA Institute. Once your application is approved and you have joined CFA Institute, you will have earned the CFA charter.
